Way of the Hunter: Wild America is coming to mobile devices, bringing its expansive open-world hunting experience to smartphones and tablets. PC players will recognize the acclaimed gameplay, originally released by Nine Rocks Games in August 2022.
Will the Mobile Version Be Complete?
While some graphical adjustments are expected given the limitations of mobile hardware compared to PCs, the core gameplay and all DLC will be included in the mobile release. Currently in beta testing, THQ Nordic and HandyGames plan a full launch soon. HandyGames has announced a closed beta test via a signup form on their official X account.
Is It the Top Hunting Simulator?
Way of the Hunter challenges players with realistic hunting mechanics, requiring patience and strategic thinking. Animals behave naturally within vast, open-world environments inspired by the USA and Europe, offering a 55-square-mile hunting ground.
The game features a range of authentic hunting weapons, from rifles to bows, and incorporates advanced tracking elements, such as blood splatter analysis and animal sign interpretation.
The game's ecosystem dynamically reacts to player actions. Overhunting in one area will cause animals to relocate, adding a layer of realism and challenge.An in-game economy allows players to sell harvested meat to purchase better equipment, hunting permits, and taxidermy trophies for their lodge. Both campaign and co-op modes will be available, with full controller support on mobile.
