Honkai Impact 3rd's Sun-Soaked January Update: Reign Solaris and More!
Honkai Impact 3rd kicks off the new year with its "In Search of the Sun" update, arriving January 9th. This update brings a wealth of new content, headlined by Durandal's exciting new battlesuit: Reign Solaris.
Reign Solaris, a Physical DMG IMG-type battlesuit, presents a more agile and nimble Durandal. Players can switch between two modes: Rampager, focusing on powerful charged attacks, and Skyrider, enabling swift battlefield movement. Durandal's signature weapons, the Valorous Effulgence and its PRI-ARM variant, Valorous Effulgence: New Voyage, are also available.
Beyond the new battlesuit, the "Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes" storyline expansion continues the Dreamseeker's and her companion's investigation into the Ten Shus war within the Mars system. Expect intense action, emotional moments, and the intriguing new "On-Duty Work Guide" minigame, challenging players to navigate Cube-ianka through a 3D grid to solve puzzles.
This update also offers a generous reward: a chance to earn up to 60,000,000 Crystals by completing main story chapters (from a shared pool). For a more relaxed experience, the "Countdown: To Sweet Dreams" event features familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, and Fu Hua, a unique boss encounter, and a monster-trainer-style command system.
