Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor were thrilled to see new figures featured in this latest batch of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin now has a new figure, while Cal Kestis stars in a three-pack set alongside Turgle and Skoova Stev. A standout feature of Cal's figure is the inclusion of multiple swap-out heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache. According to Houle, this playful detail was a top priority for the release.

"We just wanted to have fun with it," Houle shared with IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs that we revealed in the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean cut and the short beard later. For us, the primary look is almost the handlebar, and it's just so much fun."

Merrin's figure was a natural addition to the set, considering her pivotal role in the Fallen Order/Survivor saga. The challenge lay in accurately depicting her unique Force abilities.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff explained. "We're glad we finally got to Merrin, but doing that Force effect, the green blast, and all the great detail of that new costume and the face tattoos with the inkjet—there's some beautiful subtlety going on there. She's a really cool character, and we know fans are invested in her, so being able to build out that world is exciting."

This year's lineup also includes updated figures of two fan-favorite characters, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous iterations of these figures over the years, Houle believes there's still room for enhancement.

"We haven't done them in a long time," Houle stated. "They needed an update, so we gave them fully new tools. They're brand new with the latest articulation, allowing fans to celebrate and enjoy these classic characters with the latest technology. We've made quite a few updates on top of the articulation, learning from the Wookiees we've done with their long hair."

Houle further elaborated, "Despite the long hair, using softer plastics ensures Chewbacca can still pivot and move his head seamlessly. That was really important to us. We added articulation to Han as well, but we avoided the thigh break to keep the red bars on his right thigh intact. Instead, we added articulation to the top of the boot, maintaining a clean look."

One of the most striking figures in this lineup is The Ronin, inspired by the anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions. True to the series, The Ronin is a black-and-white figure, with his red katana lightsaber providing the only splash of color. As a Celebration-exclusive release, both Houle and Reiff placed a strong emphasis on perfecting the small details.

"I love that we stayed true to the vision," Houle said. "We incorporated learnings from Japanese culture, creating a premium box with magnets that allow it to open smoothly, along with clean design and watercoloring. The accessories are hidden on top of the box, adding an element of surprise. We paid attention to everything from packaging to design to engineering."

Reiff added, "We even used Japanese language for this exclusive packaging, which we don't normally do. But since we're in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special package that's entirely in Japanese."

Hasbro also delighted fans of the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line by unveiling a meticulously detailed Death Trooper helmet during their Celebration panel.

"It's a great, fully new tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff noted. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie, complete with weathering and lighting detail. You can press a button on the side to control the chin lights and the spectre sensor lights. It's a fantastic addition to our line. Working in partnership with Lucasfilm, we used original files to nail all the details of this helmet and added our own touches to the inside, something the real ones never had."
