Relive the terror! Cult classic survival horror games Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are back, resurrected for PC via GOG. Both PlayStation originals are now available DRM-free, completely intact, thanks to GOG's Preservation Program.
Originally released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these Capcom titles have enjoyed a dedicated following despite the absence of a new entry since Dino Crisis 3 in 2003. While fan hopes for a remake or new installment have been fueled by occasional online campaigns, Capcom’s release of Exoprimal and comments from creator Shinji Mikami seem to have dashed those expectations. However, the arrival of these PC ports offers a welcome reprieve for fans.
Previously difficult to run on modern systems, GOG has painstakingly enhanced these titles for optimal playability. This is a significant boon for players who may have struggled to experience these games in their original form. GOG states that Regina's iconic line, "You're extinct!" no longer applies to the games themselves.
