Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide
In Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, your primary objective is to swiftly progress through the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Achieving this milestone unlocks a plethora of the game's key features, including PvP and Boss Fights, which offer substantial rewards. This guide will walk you through the steps to reach this goal and provide tips on how to effectively manage your stamina.
Reroll
For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling is highly recommended to kickstart your journey in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium on the right foot. At the game's launch, you have a chance to obtain Suomi as the rate-up character. While it's possible to acquire her without rerolling, doing so might deplete your resources significantly.
Aim to reroll until you secure Suomi from the rate-up banner, along with either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner’s banner. With Suomi and another SSR DPS unit, you'll be well-equipped for a strong start.
Push Through the Story
Focus on advancing through the story campaign as much as possible. Initially, you can bypass the side battles and concentrate solely on the story missions to level up your account. The key is to prioritize campaign missions until you reach a point where you need to boost your Commander level to proceed, then shift your focus accordingly.
Do Your Summons as Necessary
As you progress through missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. It's crucial to save your Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners and avoid using them on the standard banner.
If you haven't obtained Suomi yet, channel all your resources into her banner. Otherwise, use your standard summoning tickets on the standard banner to try and secure another SSR character, but keep your Collapse Pieces reserved.
Limit Break and Level Up
Your character levels are linked to your account level, so whenever your Commander level increases, head to the Fitting Room to enhance your Dolls and upgrade their weapons. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need to farm Stock Bars to break the limit, which can be obtained by completing Supply Missions in the Campaign menu.
Concentrate on your main team of four Dolls, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu and/or Tololo, and fill the remaining spots with strong characters like Sharkry and Ksenia. If you have Tololo, consider dropping Ksenia.
Do the Event Missions
At level 20, you'll unlock event missions, which are time-limited and offer a chance to play through new side stories while earning Collapse Pieces and event currency.
To maximize your gains, complete all Normal missions and at least the first Hard mission. You'll have three daily attempts at Hard missions, which are your primary source of event currency. Use this currency to clear out the event shop and acquire summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources.
Dispatch Room and Affinity
Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system. You can increase a Doll's affinity by giving them presents in the Dormitory.
Boosting affinity allows you to send Dolls on Dispatch missions, which provide an additional source of idle resources. Additionally, you can earn Wish Coins for a separate gacha system and potentially obtain a copy of Perithya.
The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other useful items, so it's beneficial to keep up with this feature.
Boss Fights and Combat Exercise
Focus on Boss Fights and Combat Exercise modes next. Boss Fights are a scoring mode where you must defeat a boss within a set number of turns, with increasing difficulty at each level. The optimal team for this includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry.
Combat Exercise is the game's PvP mode, but you won't lose points for losing defenses. You can set a weak defense for others to farm points and accumulate your own points by targeting easy opponents.
Hard Mode Campaign Missions
Once you've completed all Normal mode campaign missions, you can tackle Hard mode and the side battles. While these don't provide Commander experience, they reward you with Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.
