Genshin Impact: New Character Release Rumored

Genshin Impact 5.4 Leak: Five-Star Anemo Catalyst User Mizuki Incoming

Genshin Impact's Version 5.3 introduced Mavuika, Citlali, and the 4-star Lan Yan. But what's next? A recent leak reveals exciting details about upcoming 5-star characters slated for Versions 5.4 through 5.7.

The spotlight is on Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo catalyst user predicted to debut in Version 5.4, around mid-February. This leak, originating from the reliable source DK2, aligns with current beta testing data. The leak shows silhouettes of four unreleased 5-star characters, with Mizuki's silhouette strongly matching the character in the 5.4 beta. The absence of other 5-star characters in the beta further supports this prediction.

Mizuki, an Inazuma native, is rumored to be a support character excelling with high Elemental Mastery. Beta footage hints at strong synergy with the recently released Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Her arrival in the first banner phase of 5.4 points towards a mid-February release. This potential return to Inazuma in the main storyline would also align with HoYoverse's pattern of revisiting nations four to five updates after their initial release.

In summary: Expect Mizuki, a powerful 5-star Anemo catalyst support, to grace Genshin Impact in Version 5.4, likely around mid-February. Further 5-star characters are also anticipated in Versions 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7, according to the leak.
