New Game+ mode in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will be free

The holiday break is behind us, so let's dive back into some exciting gaming news! While we eagerly anticipate updates on the Nintendo Switch 2, today's spotlight shines on a beloved franchise: Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled new gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its Hawaiian pirate adventure.

The presentation highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and diverse explorable locations. Goro Majima will feature dual combat styles: a swift, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.

Players can assemble a unique crew of allies to aid in battles, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises the discovery of hidden islands and engaging original side quests.

A significant announcement closed the presentation: the highly anticipated "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This is a welcome change from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this feature was initially exclusive to the pricier edition, drawing criticism from SEGA. This positive development means we only have to wait approximately six weeks for the game's official release.
