Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight in March's First Community Day
Pokémon GO enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Fuecoco will headline the first Community Day of March on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time). During this time, Fuecoco will be more common on the map, and trainers will enjoy an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form.
Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during the event or within a week afterward will teach it the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song without any time limits, adding versatility to your battle strategies.
Don't miss the Special Background Timed Research, which offers an encounter with Fuecoco against a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks not only boosts your chances of encountering Shiny Fuecoco but must be done by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm (local time).
For an enhanced experience, trainers can purchase the exclusive Community Day Special Research ticket for $2.00. This ticket grants access to Battle Passes, Rare Candies, and three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background. Plus, you can gift this ticket to a friend who's at least a Great Friend.

Beloved Buddies Event Kicks Off on February 11, 2025
The Beloved Buddies event, launched on February 11, 2025, introduces Dhelmise and a unique Timed Research. This research splits into two paths, each connected to beloved characters: Candela of Team Valor and Arlo of Team GO Rocket.
Before choosing a path, trainers will complete initial tasks earning Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, you'll decide between deepening your bond with your Buddy and Candela, or focusing on catching Pokémon and battling Arlo.
Opting for the Candela path rewards you with Poffins, Stardust, and Ultra Balls, alongside encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash. Choosing Arlo's path offers similar items but includes a Pocket Radar for tracking Team GO Rocket leaders, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
