While you can't directly manage the gear of your comrades, you can enhance their overall equipment levels. However, your Accessory stands out as it allows for unique command customization and gear adjustments.

How To Customize Your Accessory In Freedom Wars Remastered
Customizing your Accessory is as straightforward as adjusting your own gear in the Loadout menu. Just below your player icon, you'll find the Accessory option, which leads to a similar loadout interface. Here, your Accessory can be equipped with any weapon and Modules you possess, suitable for that weapon.
Unlike players, Accessories don't consume ammo when using firearms, adding to their utility in combat. Additionally, you can equip your Accessory with a single combat item, which they will use at their discretion. While limited to one weapon and one combat item, the real advantage lies in the unique commands you can give them.
Accessory Orders
Within the Loadout menu, you can select which set of Orders your Accessory will follow. To customize these orders, speak to your Accessory in your cell. The fifth option, "Customize Accessory," allows you to pick and organize any available commands into a set. You can expand the number of orders by purchasing the "Right To Assign Orders Entitlements" in the Window of Liberty Interface under the Accessory section.
When choosing which Order Set to use during an operation, remember that you can't change the orders once the operation begins. The various orders at your disposal include:
