Free Fire's Winterlands festival is back, bringing a dazzling Aurora display and exciting new features. This year's event introduces Koda, a tactical character with unique abilities, Frosty Tracks for speedy traversal, and an Aurora Forecast system that impacts gameplay.
Meet Koda: The Arctic Mastermind
Koda, hailing from a technologically advanced arctic region, possesses the "Aurora Vision" ability, granting him increased speed and the ability to spot enemies through obstacles. His parachute descent also offers a preview of nearby enemies. His connection to snow foxes, forged after discovering a mystical fox mask under an aurora, fuels his battlefield prowess.
Aurora-Infused Gameplay
The Aurora theme transforms Bermuda, painting the sky with vibrant auroras and introducing the Aurora Forecast system. This dynamic weather predictor provides in-game buffs, significantly altering the battle's course.
Frosty Tracks: Glide to Victory
Frosty Tracks, icy pathways perfect for skating, are scattered across Bermuda's Battle Royale and Clash Squad maps. These tracks provide strategic advantages, allowing players to quickly navigate key locations like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory while maintaining combat capabilities. Collecting Special Coin Machines along the tracks rewards players with 100 FF Coins. Clash Squad players will find these frosty highways in areas like Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.
Random Aurora Events & Friend Challenges
Battle Royale players can discover aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad players will find auroras boosting Supply Gadgets. These interactive elements offer event quest completion and squad buffs. A unique social feature lets friends appear as snowballs on the event interface, adding a playful element to squad play. Completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
