Fortnite teases collab with vocaloid Hatsune Miku - expect a concert, a pickaxe and skin

Fortnite is gearing up for a major collaboration with Hatsune Miku! Social media buzz suggests a potential in-game appearance, possibly including more than just a skin.

The official Fortnite Festival account playfully engaged with a tweet from Hatsune Miku's account, creating a humorous narrative around a missing backpack. This playful interaction hints at a broader collaboration than initially anticipated. Leaks suggest the arrival of not only a standard Vocaloid skin and a virtual concert, but also a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.

Mark your calendars! The anticipated launch date is January 14th.

Separately, Epic Games is taking action against cheating in competitive Fortnite. Professional player Seb Araujo is facing legal action for using aimbots and wallhacks to gain an unfair advantage in late December tournaments, allegedly winning thousands of dollars in prize money. The lawsuit alleges Araujo's actions deprived other players of a fair chance to compete.
