Fortnite Accidentally Re-Releases Paradigm Skin, Allows Players to Keep It

In an unexpected turn of events, Fortnite players were thrilled to see the highly sought-after Paradigm skin reappear in the game's item shop on August 6. This skin, which had been exclusive to Chapter 1 Season X, hadn't been available for purchase in five years, making its sudden return a major surprise.

Fortnite quickly acknowledged that the re-release was due to a "bug" and initially planned to remove the skin from players' Lockers, offering refunds. However, the community's strong reaction prompted a swift change in plans. Just two hours after their first announcement, Fortnite made a surprising decision. In a tweet, they declared, "Bought Paradigm tonight? You can keep her. Her accidental return to the Shop is on us... so if you purchased The Paradigm during this evening's rotation, you can keep this Outfit and we'll refund your V-Bucks soon-ish."

To honor the exclusivity of the original owners, Fortnite committed to creating a unique, new variant of the Paradigm skin, available only to those who had purchased it during its initial release in Chapter 1 Season X.
