The iconic Kinetic Blade from Chapter 4 Season 2 makes a return to Fortnite Battle Royale for Chapter 6 Season 1, also known as Fortnite Hunters. The Kinetic Blade isn't the only Katana in Fortnite this time around, so gamers can choose to either carry it or the Typhoon Blade, which was introduced at the start of this season.

This guide will tell players what they need to know about finding the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite and how to use it, so they can try it out for themselves and decide if it's worth taking over the Typhoon Blade.

How to Find the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite

The Kinetic Blade is available in Battle Royale Build and Zero Build. To find the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite, players must look for it as floor loot or inside regular and Rare chest containers.

The drop rate for the Kinetic Blade seems to be fairly low at the moment. On top of this, the fact that there are no katana stands other than Typhoon Blade Stands makes it much harder to find in-game.

How to Use the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite

The Kinetic Blade is a melee weapon allows players to move rapidly and damage their opponents before they even notice what hit them.

While with the Typhoon Blade, gamers must sprint to move faster, with the Kinetic Blade, they have to use the Dash Attack to lunge forward. This is also an attack that deals 60 damage to enemy players if it hits them. It can be used a maximum of three times consecutively before it needs to recharge.

Alternatively, the players can use the Knockback Slash attack, which deals 35 damage to players and knocks them back, as its name indicates. If the player falls after being thrown with this attack, they can suffer fall damage and even be eliminated.
