Geoff Keighley, host and producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL), has officially announced the showcase will feature brand-new game reveals alongside updates on highly anticipated titles.
Gamescom has already teased appearances from several big-name games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization VII, MARVEL Rivals, Dune: Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. However, the show promises to unveil several completely unannounced games. The Gamescom 2024 ONL livestream will begin August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.
Confirmed highlights include the first gameplay reveal of Don't Nod's Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, a new trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and a brand-new game announcement from THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios (creators of Little Nightmares).
Call of Duty fans can look forward to the first-ever live gameplay demonstration of Black Ops 6's campaign. While Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom 2024, The Pokémon Company will be a featured presence.
