'Dungeons of Dreadrock 2' Unveiled for Switch, PC, Mobile

by Lucas Jan 22,2025

Approximately two and a half years ago, we were captivated by the delightful dungeon crawler, Dungeons of Dreadrock, developed by Christoph Minnameier. Inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, this top-down perspective game offered a unique blend of dungeon exploration and puzzle-solving. Its 100 distinct levels, each representing a floor in a sprawling dungeon, challenged players to rescue their kidnapped brother. The game's difficulty, bordering on logic puzzle complexity in some sections, demanded strategic thinking and precise timing. Our glowing review reflected the game's quality, and its subsequent release across numerous platforms garnered similar praise. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel. Introducing Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret!

The vibrant red background and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the familiar snapping sound effect, confirm the Switch as the initial target platform. The game's website reveals a November 28th, 2024 release date on the Switch eShop. Rest assured, a PC version is in development and currently available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile versions for iOS and Android are also planned. While precise mobile release dates remain unannounced, their inclusion is encouraging. We'll provide updates as further platform release information becomes available.
