Disney Speedstorm brings in Maui as its latest addition, coming season 11

by Lucas Feb 02,2025

Disney Speedstorm welcomes another iconic animated character: Maui! This demi-god, inspired by Polynesian mythology and a breakout star from the hit movie Moana, joins the thrilling race. While Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson won't be voicing him, Maui arrives with impressive abilities.

Disney Speedstorm boasts an incredible roster, featuring characters from Monsters Inc. to Pirates of the Caribbean, making it a dream for Disney fans. But the fun doesn't stop there! Following the release of Moana 2, Maui is set to debut in Season 11, Part One!

Maui's signature move, "Hero to All," lets him fling racers with his magical fishing hook. A fully charged attack transforms him into a hawk for a powerful counter-attack.

Disney Speedstorm is a fantastic way for Disney to keep its characters relevant, and with Moana 2's success, they might not need much assistance. Maui is expected to rank highly on many tier lists due to his ability to disrupt opponents and gain a significant advantage.
