Uncover the Secrets of Diablo 4's Forgotten Altars and Lost Powers!
The Season of the Maelstrom introduces Witchcraft Powers, categorized as Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay, accessible through Coven favor earned by completing quests. These powers are enhanced by upgrading Altars near the Tree of Whispers. However, a rarer type of Altar, the Forgotten Altar, offers even more potent Lost Powers.
Unlike standard Altars with fixed locations, Forgotten Altars randomly appear within Sanctuary's dungeons. This requires exploration, but the powerful Lost Powers make the search worthwhile. Since the seasonal questline already involves dungeon delving, finding these Altars might require minimal extra effort.
