Devil May Cry Anime Opener: Limp Bizkit

Netflix unveiled the opening trailer for its upcoming Devil May Cry anime adaptation, shortly after announcing its April 3, 2025 premiere date. Set to Limp Bizkit's iconic "Rollin'," the trailer showcases dynamic scenes featuring a young Dante, Lady, and the enigmatic White Rabbit, peppered with nods to the game series.

Showrunner Adi Shankar elaborated on his vision, explaining the series' late 90s/early 2000s setting and its accompanying soundtrack. He highlighted Limp Bizkit's contribution, promising further tracks from that era, alongside a synthwave reimagining of the game's soundtrack by Power Glove. Shankar hinted at a multi-season arc, promising diverse visual styles and soundtracks for future seasons to reflect the franchise's varied games.

While plot details remain under wraps, the first season, comprising eight episodes, is anticipated to adapt elements from the Code 1: Dante manga (based on Devil May Cry 3), focusing on a young Dante investigating a child's disappearance. This investigation will force him to confront his past, family, and his demonic father Sparda's legacy.
