Destiny 2: Reputation Glitch Frustrates Players

Destiny 2's Grandmaster Nightfall relaunch has unearthed another reputation bug impacting Warlock players. While Destiny 2 has enjoyed a successful period with new content like "Into The Light" and "The Final Shape," recent weeks have seen a surge in game-breaking glitches. Bungie actively addresses these issues, but new bugs seemingly appear with each weekly reset.

Recent examples include exploits granting free rewards for AFK Crucible participation and unlimited Paracausal Shots with Hawkmoon. Warlocks have previously faced a Gambit reputation bug hindering their XP gains compared to Titans and Hunters. This issue, unfortunately, persists and extends beyond Gambit.

The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls with boosted Vanguard reputation and double rewards. However, Warlocks are again experiencing significantly reduced XP gains compared to other classes.

Warlock Reputation Bug in Destiny 2

The community has highlighted this double XP discrepancy for Vanguard reputation, noting Warlocks receive less XP from ritual activities. Many players were initially unaware, only noticing the slower leveling process. Surprisingly, this bug may have existed for months without official acknowledgement from Bungie. Increased awareness followed last week's Gambit XP issue specifically affecting Warlocks.

Currently, players can only increase awareness and hope Bungie addresses the problem. Bungie has been busy with other fixes, including Update 8.0.0.5, which addressed numerous issues, tweaked the Ritual Pathfinder, added more general nodes for PvE/PvP activity completion, and removed Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids.
