Navigating the dungeons in Metaphor: ReFantazio can be quite the challenge, especially with formidable foes like mini-bosses lurking around every corner. Even if you're grinding for XP, these enemies often appear as red markers in the overworld Fairy Sight, indicating a tough Squad combat ahead. One such daunting adversary you'll encounter in the Spire Of Blind Faith is the Faithwight Magileto, a formidable enemy that demands a near-perfect strategy and a bit of luck to overcome.

This level 50 enemy can spawn additional level 50 enemies, making it advisable to be at least level 45 before engaging in combat. The Faithwight Magileto wields powerful dark and light magic that can target either a single character or the entire party. It also uses Megidolaon, a devastating spell that hits everyone and inflicts massive damage. Additionally, it benefits from passive buffs that amplify its dark, light, and Megidolaon spells. The Faithwight Magileto can use Soul Scream to gain four Press Turn icons in a single turn, and it has the ability to summon more level 50 skeletons to bolster its ranks.

These summoned minions come equipped with strong slashing attacks and dark magic, as well as a potent buff and one of the game's most effective healing spells, which they can use to restore the Faithwight Magileto to full health. Fortunately, these minions share the same weakness to Strike, making it crucial to focus on exploiting this vulnerability to secure victory.

How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Even with a meticulously crafted strategy, defeating the Faithwight Magileto remains a formidable task, especially if you're not at least level 50. Here are some preparatory steps to tilt the odds in your favor:

  • Equip your party with Dark Dodge skills from the Magic Knight.
  • Obtain Light Dodge from the Healer Archetype.
  • Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype.
  • Utilize the Warlock Archetype, which naturally resists both Dark and Light damage.
  • Include the Thief Archetype, which resists Dark damage.
  • Carry Tetrabreak to counter any summoned enemies using Tetrakarn.

While the specific Archetypes you choose are flexible, prioritize those that meet as many of the above criteria as possible and ensure they aren't vulnerable to Dark, Light, or Slash damage. If you have access to multiple Archetypes and can use Skill Inheritance, focus on those with high Strength. Ensure at least two party members have party-wide healing spells, and equip everyone with a Strike Attack to maximize Press Turn Icons and manage the health loss from these attacks.

Success in this battle hinges on some luck, particularly in surviving consecutive Megidolaons. Equipping most of your party with Dark and Light dodge skills can help end the enemy's turn more quickly. If the Faithwight Magileto summons allies, prioritize eliminating them swiftly before they can heal the main enemy. The Dekaja skill can be useful in dispelling any buffs from summoned enemies. Your primary objective each turn should be to execute at least six Strike attacks and use two party-wide healing spells.
