How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
As E.R.P.O. continues to evolve with new monster additions, bookmarking this page is a smart move to stay updated on the latest strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to tackle each monster. While specific strategies are key, you can also use various weapons to combat them:
- Melee Combat: Equip yourself with melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will spawn in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and used to swing at monsters. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run tactic to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
- Grenades and Mines: Purchase Grenades and Mines from the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and throw it or leave it to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming tougher ones. Mines require placement and patience, waiting for monsters to trigger them.
- Monster Brawl: Strategically use the environment to your advantage. Lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise through walking or voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations to cause mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a shadowy ghost, is a formidable foe that you must avoid or outmaneuver. It can grab and damage you upon contact. To evade, crouch and hide, or kite it around. For a more direct approach, use 2 Grenades or 2 Mines to take it down by luring it towards you. Melee combat is not advised due to Robe's high damage output. Be aware that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper, a raggedy doll with spinning sword arms, is less dangerous than Robe but still requires careful handling. You can kite it or avoid it, as it doesn't teleport. Melee weapons are effective against Reaper due to its lower damage output. It can be killed with one grenade and a few melee hits, and grenades and mines can stun it, making it easier to finish off.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked. They'll follow you peacefully unless you grab or damage them, at which point they become aggressive, flying and biting with low damage but relentless pursuit. Your best strategy is to outrun them or use melee weapons for a quick kill. Grenades are overkill given their low health.
Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind marksman with a one-shot gun, relies on sound to locate you. Avoid detection by crouching with C and hiding under tables. Melee combat is risky due to its auto-aim capability. Instead, strategically place mines or throw grenades while crouched to stun the Huntsman for 6 seconds, giving you a window to attack with melee weapons.
