Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile release offers a fresh take on the classic title.
Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they decided to release two versions: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic (a remastered version with updated content) for Nintendo Switch and Steam (releasing later this year). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.
