June 2024 saw the release of a new trailer, showcasing intense gun battles against zombies and Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic vehicles. The game's narrative unfolds years after the apocalypse, focusing on human survivors establishing and defending settlements against the undead.
State of Decay 3 is slated for release on PC and Xbox Series consoles. The previous installment launched in 2018.
