2025 is set to be a monumental year for DC Comics, with one of the most eagerly awaited projects being the sequel to the iconic Batman: Hush saga, aptly titled Batman: Hush 2. This sequel is especially significant as it marks the return of DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, to the helm of a monthly Batman comic. The storyline, which kicks off in Batman #158 in March, serves as a direct follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hush series that ran from 2002 to 2004.

While DC has explored several Hush-related storylines in the years following the original, Batman: Hush 2 stands out as the first to be crafted by the original creative team. This sequel brings back writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee, along with inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.
Building on the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 delves into a new mystery. The Dark Knight uncovers evidence that his childhood friend Tommy Elliot, also known as Hush, survived their last confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for Hush to manipulate Batman's network of allies and enemies in a thrilling new narrative.
Batman: Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, hitting stores on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, ushering in a new era for the Dark Knight under the creative direction of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
