Cyberpunk Shooter ‘Replaced’ Postponed Until 2023

Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, developed by Sad Cat Studios, has faced multiple postponements, now projected to launch in 2026.

Previously, a 2025 release date was announced by Sad Cat, who described the game's development as uniquely challenging. The game's journey has been marked by delays from its initial 2022 target, followed by a 2023 postponement, and then a further pushback. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, fueled by the considerable anticipation surrounding the game.

First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat hasn't yet officially addressed this latest delay, they've maintained communication with fans, sharing glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game, earlier this year.
