Finnish game developer Kuuasema has unveiled their latest project, Cthulu Keeper, a comedic strategy game that draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's eerie universe and may remind fans of Bullfrog's 1997 classic, Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, this game promises to immerse players in a unique blend of dark humor and strategic gameplay set in the 1920s.
In Cthulu Keeper, players will embark on a journey to "build your very own cult and generate fear and chaos around you." The game challenges you to construct an elaborate lair, delve into dark research, and summon terrifying Lovecraftian monsters. As you expand your influence, you'll recruit cultists, spread your message on the streets, and achieve various objectives. However, be prepared to defend your sanctum against rival cults and the ever-watchful authorities using an arsenal of traps and spells.
