Shin Chan: Shiro & Coal Town – A Captivating Anime Mystery
The story begins as the Nohara family moves to a tranquil village in Akita Prefecture after Hiroshi lands a job near his hometown. They rent a traditional Japanese farmhouse and begin their new, peaceful life in the countryside.
Early in the game, Shinnosuke (Shin Chan) gets to experience the charm of rural living alongside his grandfather, Ginnosuke. Players can enjoy fishing in Akita's rivers, catching insects in the groves, and learning farming techniques from his grandmother during morning and evening routines.
One day, the family dog Shiro suddenly reappears covered in black soot and dashes away. Shin Chan naturally gives chase, which leads him to a mysterious train that wasn't there before. After an accidental ride, he finds himself transported to the enigmatic Coal Town.

Coal Town: Preserved in Time Since the Showa Era
In Coal Town, you'll encounter bustling workers, nostalgic retro atmosphere, and a fresh set of activities. This industrial setting contrasts sharply with the peaceful countryside. The town features a children's park, diner, various shops, restaurants, and apartment buildings – some interactive, others serving as background elements.
Here you'll meet Yuri, a young inventor who enlists your help gathering materials for her experiments. She's determined to improve life for the townspeople. However, her older brother Chuck appears with his own agenda, implementing a 'waste-free' system that ironically makes everyone's lives miserable. Your mission becomes helping Yuri stop Chuck and restore balance to Coal Town.
