Creature-Collection Game Warcodes Launches a New Universe with ‘Welcome to Warcodia’

Warcodes has rolled out a massive update. It’s a monster-collection game from the indie studio Cozy Orchards, which enhances its creations using AI. The game was launched on Android in October 2024.

It’s the Welcome to Warcodia update that gives the game a new universe. Built with direct input from its community, the new expansion is bringing many new experiences for players.

Warcodes has a new map and more!

The Welcome to Warcodia update brings the game’s first fully explorable world map. You can now travel across Zivilon, the capital of Warcodia, while venturing into areas like the Cursed Forest and Wraith Woods.

The new regions have timed PvE battles. It offers new ways to grind for rewards and develop your squad of barcode-born creatures. The timed battles rotate challenges and rewards as well.

The update also gave the social side of Warcodes a boost. A new friends list feature lets you connect directly by sharing friend codes. You can view your friends’ levels, icons, and eventually participate in shared achievements and rewards.

In between battling and exploring, you can now drop by Celli’s Market. It’s a new hub with merchants offering their own themed inventory. There’s Heavylon for arms, Caribrew for potions, and Talia for chambers, among others. The merchants offer items that range from common to rare, premium, and even time-limited.

The arenas have also seen notable updates

Daily and Masters King of the Hill events are more dynamic now. There are upgraded leaderboards and faster-paced formats.

Players can now customise their scanner interface, level it up, and even track its stats. It gives you the opportunity to scan real-world barcodes and summon monsters with unique traits based on what you scanned.

Lastly, your profile now displays a Player Level. It’s calculated based on experience gained across battles and exploration.
