The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new stylish addition: Minccino and Cinccino in fashionable attire! This limited-time event offers a chance to catch these trendy Pokémon.
When Can You Catch Costumed Minccino?
The fashionable Minccino and Cinccino, sporting rhinestone glasses and bows, debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. Shiny Costume Minccino was available, but a Shiny Costume Cinccino was not. The event also featured costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.
How to Acquire Costumed Minccino:
Unfortunately, unlike previous events, obtaining the costumed Minccino is less straightforward. It's available through two methods:
One-Star Raids
Costume Minccino appeared in One-Star Raids during the event. While these raids are typically easy to complete solo, you'll need to locate a Gym hosting a Minccino raid, as other costumed Pokémon like Shinx and Furfrou also appeared in One-Star Raids.
Paid Timed Research
The most reliable method was purchasing the paid Timed Research ticket ($5 USD or equivalent). This ticket guaranteed encounters with Costume Minccino, alongside XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and other event-themed Pokémon encounters.
Field Research Tasks
While Field Research Tasks offered encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic's blog didn't specify which Pokémon would be included. The possibility of encountering Minccino existed, but it was less certain than the paid method.
Getting Costumed Cinccino:
To obtain a costumed Cinccino, you must evolve a costumed Minccino. This requires 50 Minccino candies and a Unova Stone.
