In Brighter Shores, the Brannof family requires your assistance in recovering a lost shipment of crucial weapons. This guide details how to complete "The Lost Shipment" quest.
Starting the Quest:
Locate Brannof Hall's dining room, accessible from Brannof Boulevard near the Town Square. Speak with Cohen; he'll reveal the missing weapons and enlist your help. Crucially, speak to him again to receive two vital leads.
Completing the Quest:
To proceed, investigate both leads. Remove any Town Guard attire before questioning individuals.
Lead 1: Captain Shirker on The Vincible:
Find Captain Shirker on his ship, The Vincible, docked southeast in town. After a meal at The Delectable Dab (near the Town Square), he'll mention a man in a blue waistcoat.
Locate this man in the Town Square. He'll point you towards "The Illusion," but suggests impersonating "Sam" (who has a monobrow).
Obtain a monobrow from the hairdresser on Old Street West (costs 8 Silver and 280 Copper).
Lead 2: The Hooked Hand:
Investigate The Hooked Hand restaurant near Eel Street. Inquire with patrons until directed to The Frequently Fresh Fish Stall.
The stall is beyond the Eel Street Bridge. The Fishmonger requires a Fetid Flounder (requires Level 25 Fishing skill). Catch it, write a note (using Quill, Ink, and Paper from Lord Brannof's desk), hide it inside the fish, and give it to the Fishmonger.
Hide nearby; observe the "Furtive Stranger" who buys the fish.
Follow him to Monab Row. Ensure your monobrow is visible (remove Guard armor). Identify yourself as "Sam," defeat the thief (Level 30), and retrieve the Plumbatae. Return them to Brannof Hall to complete the quest.
