Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Gods & Demons

At its heart, Gods & Demons features a vertical landscape mode with gameplay that revolves around managing multiple heroes from various factions and classes. The key to building your team lies in the game's gacha system, which we'll discuss in more detail later. Your primary combat experience unfolds through the main story campaign, which is divided into multiple chapters, each with several stages of increasing difficulty. To conquer these challenges, you'll need to devise different strategies and gain a deep understanding of how battles operate.

Silver Summons

In the Silver Summons banner, players can expect to receive heroes ranging from 2 to 5 stars. You'll need to use your accumulated silver contracts to participate in these summons. There's a pity system in place that guarantees a random 5-star hero after accumulating 1000 points, which translates to 100 summons, with each summon granting you 10 points.

Gold Summons

The Gold Summons banner ups the ante, offering heroes from 3 to 5 stars. You can use either your gold contracts or Diamonds to summon here. A single summon costs 300 diamonds, while a 10-fold summon is a better deal at 2700 diamonds. The pity system here also guarantees a 5-star hero after 1000 points, but each summon earns you 20 points, making the effective pity threshold 50 summons.

Friendship Summons

For the Friendship Summons banner, players can use their friendship points to summon heroes ranging from 2 to 5 stars. Like the Silver Summons, this banner has a pity system that ensures a 5-star hero after reaching 1000 points, with each summon contributing 10 points, resulting in a total of 100 summons to reach the pity.
