Clash Royale's research confirms: Christmas cards are so last year! A staggering 60% of adults receive fewer cards than before, and a massive 79% couldn't care less. In fact, over 40% hope this trend continues into 2024.
To tap into this widespread holiday apathy, Clash Royale is staging a hilariously rebellious pop-up event at Boxpark Shoreditch in London. Bring your unwanted Christmas cards and shred them – you'll receive in-game rewards in return! It's a guilt-free way to dispose of those unwanted cards while boosting your game.
But the anti-Christmas sentiment doesn't stop at cards. Clash Royale's survey revealed a full-blown festive revolt: 20% of people want Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" banned forever, and over 20% of self-proclaimed Grinches have publicly complained about Christmas music or swapped turkey for beef.
The anti-Christmas fun extends to Clash Royale's content creators too! Youtubers like Orange Juice Gaming are receiving hilariously awful gifts (think socks, oven mitts, and nail clippers), but with a twist: the packages are wrapped in custom Clash Royale paper containing in-game goodies for fans.
