Clash Royale Battles Holiday Waste with In-Game Rewards

by Zachary Jan 17,2025

Clash Royale's research confirms: Christmas cards are so last year! A staggering 60% of adults receive fewer cards than before, and a massive 79% couldn't care less. In fact, over 40% hope this trend continues into 2024.

To tap into this widespread holiday apathy, Clash Royale is staging a hilariously rebellious pop-up event at Boxpark Shoreditch in London. Bring your unwanted Christmas cards and shred them – you'll receive in-game rewards in return! It's a guilt-free way to dispose of those unwanted cards while boosting your game.

But the anti-Christmas sentiment doesn't stop at cards. Clash Royale's survey revealed a full-blown festive revolt: 20% of people want Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" banned forever, and over 20% of self-proclaimed Grinches have publicly complained about Christmas music or swapped turkey for beef.

ytThe anti-Christmas fun extends to Clash Royale's content creators too! Youtubers like Orange Juice Gaming are receiving hilariously awful gifts (think socks, oven mitts, and nail clippers), but with a twist: the packages are wrapped in custom Clash Royale paper containing in-game goodies for fans.

Need a winning deck to use your new rewards? Check out our Clash Royale tier list, ranking every card from best to worst!

If you're in London and suffering from Christmas card overload (or ugly sweater fatigue!), this event is for you. Download Clash Royale for free using the links below and visit the official website for details.
