Civilization VII: A Roadmap to Global Domination
Civilization VII's launch is imminent, bringing with it a wealth of new content and features. The first DLC, "Crossroads of the World," arrives in March, split into two releases. The initial wave introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, alongside the groundbreaking historical figure Ada Lovelace as a new leader. Three weeks later, the second part unveils Simon Bolivar and the civilizations of Bulgaria and Nepal.

Further expansion arrives with "Right to Rule," slated for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This DLC will add two more leaders, four new civilizations, and exciting new natural wonders to the game. March also sees the introduction of fresh in-game events and natural wonders, including iconic locations such as the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.
Firaxis is committed to enhancing the Civilization VII experience post-launch. Expect ongoing updates introducing new challenges and events, ensuring a dynamic and evolving gameplay experience.
Civilization VII will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners gain five days early access, starting February 6th. A day-one patch will also be released alongside the game's official launch on February 11th.
Firaxis Games and 2K have declared Civilization VII a "gold standard" title, signifying the completion of primary development and minimizing the likelihood of further delays. Steam Deck compatibility is also confirmed. Prepare for global conquest!
