Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0: A Global Launch with Clan Warfare and More!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense, after a successful soft launch in select regions in June 2024, has officially launched globally with its highly anticipated 3.0 update. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures for players worldwide.
What's New in Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?
The most significant addition is the introduction of clans, enabling players to team up, trade units, share rewards, and purchase items from a dedicated clan store. Clan participation unlocks after reaching Arena 2.
Competitive players can hone their skills in training battles. For those who've reached Arena 5, the Clan Tournament offers a thrilling PvP experience where five-member clans compete to complete daily quests the fastest for top prizes.
Unit Overhauls and Name Changes
Several units have undergone significant changes:
- Raphael is now Angel, shifting from a damage booster to a health restorer.
- Knight of Light is renamed Risen.
- Forestlord is now Woodbeard.
- Riding Hood has been transformed into a long-range damage dealer.
- Golem's ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee role.
- Fighter now assumes a defensive role with a new opponent-repelling ability.
Several units, including Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire, have received visual updates, particularly noticeable at higher merge ranks.
