Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 isn't just a festive reskin of Liberty Falls; it shakes up weapon progression and upgrades. This guide explains how to upgrade your weapons and acquire Ammo Mods in this holiday-themed Black Ops 6 Zombies mode.
How To Upgrade Your Weapon in Jingle Hells

Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent from Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades rely on Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity levels (color-coded). Using a Purple (Legendary) Aether Tool, for instance, upgrades your weapon to Legendary rarity. Here's how to obtain them:
- Church Spire: Toss a grenade at the zombie head atop the Church spire. This triggers an event, dropping zombies and loot, including Aether Tools. Higher rounds yield higher-rarity tools.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes in the Bank Vault, offering a chance at Aether Tools of various rarities.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, aiming for the highest reward tier, provides a chance to earn Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity using a Hidden Power GobbleGum.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the round progresses.
How To Get Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Cryo Freeze is seemingly the only Ammo Mod available in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item. The primary method to obtain it is by opening Holiday Presents, which contain random loot with higher-rarity rewards in later rounds.
Holiday Presents can be acquired in several ways:
- Enemy Drops: Killing enemies occasionally drops Holiday Presents.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: This power-up grants either a "Nice" or "Naughty" UI banner. "Nice" drops multiple presents, while "Naughty" spawns numerous vermin enemies.
- S.A.M. Machine: The S.A.M. Machine spawns several Holiday Presents around it when it appears.
How To Get Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, preventing Salvage use for crafting equipment or Support items like Chopper Gunners. However, these can still be obtained:
- Enemy Drops: Equipment drops from killing enemies.
- Holiday Presents: Holiday Presents can drop equipment.
- Special/Elite Enemy Drops: Support items can drop from Special and Elite enemies.
- S.A.M. Trials: S.A.M. Trials can reward equipment and Support.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: The Bank Vault's deposit boxes may contain equipment and Support.
This covers weapon upgrades, Ammo Mods, equipment, and Support acquisition in Jingle Hells within Black Ops 6 Zombies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
