NCSoft has recently announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, in a surprising move considering the game never reached its full, polished version. If you recall, it underwent a global test in August 2023 and had an early access release in June 2024. However, just a few months later, the decision to wind down the game has been made.
When is the Battle Crush EOS?
The game will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. The in-game shop has already ceased selling items. If you made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, you are eligible for a refund. Android and Steam players can initiate their refund requests starting from December 2nd, 2024, through January 2025. Make sure to download any content you want to keep by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible after that date.
Battle Crush’s official website will remain active until May 30th, 2025, which could be useful for any last-minute support. The game's social media accounts and Discord server will shut down on January 31st, 2025.
Does it Surprise You?
It's always tough when a game you've invested time and strategy into announces its shutdown. Naturally, Battle Crush players are feeling the impact of this EOS announcement. However, if you've been following the game, you might not be entirely shocked. The gameplay wasn't the smoothest; moves sometimes felt clunky, and the pacing could have been better. Battle Crush was enjoyable but lacked that extra layer of finesse, which ultimately contributed to its EOS.
You can still check it out on the Google Play Store before it shuts down completely. Alternatively, stay tuned for our next update on the Autumn Season filled with Story-Driven Quests in Black Desert Mobile.
