"Battle Crush Early-Access Beta Now Live on Switch, Steam, Mobile"

by Victoria May 05,2025

The mythology-inspired MOBA, Battle Crush, has officially launched into early access, bringing its unique blend of action to mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Dive into the fray with a diverse lineup of 15 characters, known as 'Calixers,' each drawing inspiration from mythological and folkloric legends—even the dinosaurs join the battle, all fighting to be the last one standing.

If we were to simplify Battle Crush, we might call it a family-friendly version of Smite. It seamlessly blends traditional MOBA gameplay with elements reminiscent of platform fighters like Super Smash Bros. The game's fast-paced and frenetic action is tailored perfectly for the mobile experience, though it might not satisfy hardcore League of Legends fans who crave more complex controls.

Battle Crush GameplayWe previously had the opportunity to go hands-on with Battle Crush, and our overall impression was positive yet cautious. We felt it was a solid game but suggested it could benefit from more distinctive features. It's definitely worth playing, but you might want to keep an eye on its development throughout early access.

Crushing the Competition

Battle Crush kicks off with three exciting game modes: Battle Royale, a familiar format where you're the last one standing; a 3v3 Brawl for team-based action; and a 1v1 Duel mode for those who prefer a one-on-one challenge. A standout feature is the full cross-play support across all platforms, ensuring your progress seamlessly transfers from mobile to Switch and Steam.

You can download Battle Crush now on the App Store and Google Play. If you're on the hunt for other trending games, don't miss our weekly feature highlighting the top five new mobile games to try. And for a broader selection, explore our comprehensive list of the best mobile games of 2024 so far!
