Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer

Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial update by modder Celerev, transforms the Trials of Tav mod with the addition of a challenging roguelike mode. This update significantly increases the difficulty of the adventure.

This enhanced version boasts new enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even seasoned players. Conquering this monstrous foe signifies a true completion of the run.

The modifications extend beyond a single boss encounter; over 60 enemies from the original game have been integrated, including rare adversaries such as Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted: trading mechanics are improved, and the difficulty scaling has been recalibrated to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable obstacles.

Mod creator Celerev acknowledges the crucial contribution of Hippo0o, the original mod's author, highlighting the foundational work that allowed for this expansive game mode. Importantly, the original Trials of Tav remains accessible for players who prefer the classic experience.
