Leaked Assassin's Creed Shadows Artbook Surfaces Online
New information regarding the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows has emerged following an alleged artbook leak, surprisingly originating from a hentai website, according to a Reddit post on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. The artbook, titled "The Art of Assassin's Creed Shadows," contains hundreds of pages of concept art, quotes, and development details about the next Assassin's Creed installment.
While the leak itself is noteworthy, its source adds an unexpected twist. Ubisoft has been contacted by IGN for comment. Although the original source has removed the gallery, archived versions are circulating on other file-sharing platforms.

The leaked material showcases concept art for historical figures, major cities, and weaponry, potentially revealing plot spoilers. While authenticity remains unconfirmed until the game's release, the images appear genuine.
The leak precedes the game's revised launch date of March 20, 2025, following a delay from its initial 2024 release window. In a recent preview event, Assassin's Creed Shadows game director Charles Benoit explained to IGN that the delay primarily focused on polishing the game. While some progression elements and balancing adjustments were made, the most significant changes involved the parkour system, particularly its adaptation to the unique challenges presented by Feudal Japan's complex architecture.
Benoit stated, "The Japanese architecture, the roofs [are] super complex... We needed specific codes and specific animations to support something super fluid, changing the transition of the parkour to make it even more fluid."
