Arknights: Endfield PC beta test begins today, no news on mobile test yet

by Gabriel Feb 20,2025

Arknights: Endfield's initial major beta test is now live, exclusively on PC. This PC-focused early access grants desktop players the opportunity to explore new content, characters, and gameplay mechanics.

The developer, Gryphline, appears to be prioritizing the PC platform with this beta release, a strategic move considering the original Arknights' mobile origins. While this might disappoint mobile fans, it promises valuable feedback from dedicated PC players, shaping the game's development.

Endfield, set within the established Arknights universe, aims to transition the series into the 3D RPG genre, reminiscent of titles like Genshin Impact. This beta test will unveil new details, including character introductions, dodge mechanics, combo systems, expanded maps, and fresh puzzle and dungeon content.

While the PC-first approach is notable, it's unlikely to mirror the extensive mobile release delays seen in other titles like NetEase's Once Human. However, it's a factor to consider as more information emerges.
