How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After numerous trials, we've successfully navigated **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. These stages aren't challenging in terms of skill or exploration, but they do require **extensive Reputation grinding**. And when we say extensive, we mean it!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To unlock Arata Stage 1, you need to accumulate **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the rank of **Special Investigator** in the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and speak to **Damiro D. Mado**, who's on the second floor wearing headphones. He'll assign you the quest to collect **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara** (see images below) and then crafting them at a work station. To check your Reputation, talk to **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've collected **all 20 fragments**, combine them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting table. If bosses pose a challenge, consult our *GHOUL://RE* Boss and Raid guide for tips.

Return to **Damiro**, who will then direct you to speak with “him”. This instruction puzzled the *GHOUL://RE* community for a while, but it turns out “he” is the **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, hidden in plain sight. For a detailed list of NPC locations, refer to our guide on all **NPC locations in *GHOUL://RE***.

Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must play in **permadeath (PD) mode** to unlock the legendary armor. We recommend teaming up for better results, as solo missions can be frustrating.

Once you've earned **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. There, speak to **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel dressed in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage 2 and acquire **Arata-Proto armor**. Despite rumors suggesting you might only need 75,000 or between 90,000 to 100,000 Reputation, we've found that **100,000 Reputation points** ensure success. Remember, you must play stages 2 and 3 on **PD servers** to progress; otherwise, you won't complete Stage 2 or access Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final Arata Stage requires another visit to **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building, but only in **PD mode**. You'll need **one one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**. After paying, the Black Reaper will teleport you to face **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires decent gaming skills, involving lots of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing damage from above. While he's not unbeatable, be prepared for potential multiple attempts. If you die, you'll need another **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and an additional **500,000 Yen** per attempt. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor, which offers powerful buffs but also drains your hunger at a high rate.

Arata Armor Tips & Tricks

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**

While wearing Arata armor, keep in mind it **drains your hunger** rapidly, and you cannot eat while equipped. To replenish hunger, you must **remove the armor**. However, the benefits are significant; you won't be **ragdolled** while in Arata, providing a crucial advantage in combat. Additionally, Arata armor makes your character **more "tanky"**, able to take and dish out substantial damage. If your hunger depletes during a fight, the armor will start consuming your **health bar**, so be cautious, especially in boss fights, and consider removing it if it becomes too risky.

**Reputation Grinding**

The most efficient way to earn the required Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD grants **1,500 Reputation**, far more than the **500** you receive outside PD. Killing Ghouls only yields **100 Reputation** per kill, making them less optimal for grinding during your Arata quests.

Congratulations! You're now well-versed in all Arata Stages in *GHOUL://RE*. Before diving into the action, don't forget to grab our latest *GHOUL://RE* codes to enhance your gameplay from the start.
