From April 24th to 29th, the Sweet Discoveries event introduces the adorable Applin, a Dragon/Grass-type that's sure to win hearts. Evolving Applin into Flapple or Appletun requires 200 Applin Candy and either a Tart Apple or a Sweet Apple, respectively. These apples can be discovered in the wild, particularly near Mossy Lures, and may also trigger Applin encounters.

During the Sweet Discoveries event, keep an eye out for wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Engage in Field Research and hatch Eggs for chances to encounter Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research during the event offers both free and paid options, with the latter providing extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters. For those who crave a more intense battle experience, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th-27th, where Dynamax Entei makes its debut. This fiery encounter might even yield a Shiny Entei if fortune favors you.
