iPad Pro M4 with OLED Hits Record Low Price at Amazon

The 2025 Black Friday deal has returned. Amazon has just reduced the price of the newly launched Apple iPad Pro M4 11" tablet to $849, thanks to a $100 instant discount and an additional $50 coupon applied automatically at checkout. This matches the best offer we spotted during last year's Black Friday. Released on May 15, 2024, the latest iPad Pro brings major upgrades over the previous model, including the powerful M4 chip and—for the first time—a stunning tandem OLED display.

In our 2024 iPad Pro M4 review, Jacqueline Thomas noted, "For creative professionals, the 2024 iPad Pro stands as the most powerful tablet available, especially if your work centers around touchscreen interaction. For everyone else, it offers the most exquisite display found on any tablet, backed by hardware powerful enough to serve as a high-end device for years to come."

The 2024 iPad Pro is the top tablet on the market, whether you're in the iOS ecosystem or not, thanks to the new M4 processor that delivers both high performance and energy efficiency. It outperforms the previous M2 iPad by roughly 20%. However, the standout improvement isn't the M4 chip, but the tandem OLED screen—previously unseen on Apple devices. Tandem OLED surpasses traditional OLED in two key ways: 1) it offers significantly higher brightness, and 2) it's more resistant to burn-in. If you're curious why this technology hasn't yet been adopted in televisions, it's mainly due to cost limitations at larger screen sizes. Because the iPad's 11" display is relatively small, it can incorporate this advanced panel—partly explaining why the iPad Pro is priced higher than other iPads in Apple’s 2024 collection.
