Get ready for the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 4 Championships! The highly anticipated tournament will make history as the first ALGS offline event held in Asia, taking place in Sapporo, Japan.

Sapporo Hosts First Asian ALGS Tournament

The ALGS Year 4 Championships will be held at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025. Forty elite Apex Legends teams will compete for the coveted championship title. This marks a significant milestone for the ALGS, expanding its reach to a vibrant Asian esports community.

EA highlighted the strong Japanese Apex Legends fanbase as a key factor in choosing Sapporo. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed excitement about celebrating this milestone with a tournament at the prestigious Daiwa House Premist Dome.

Further details, including tournament specifics and ticket information, will be released at a later date. Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto welcomed the event, promising the city's full support for the athletes, officials, and fans.

Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)

Before the main event, the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will give teams a final shot at qualifying for the Championships. The LCQ will run from September 13th to 15th, 2024. Fans can catch all the action and find out which teams secured their spots on the official @PlayApex Twitch channel.
