Adventure Time comic sequel launches April 2025

For fans missing the whimsical world of Adventure Time, Oni Press delivers exciting news. The publisher has partnered with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a brand-new monthly Adventure Time comic series starting April 2025.

Adventure Time #1 is written and illustrated by Nick Winn and Derek Ballard. This continuation picks up after the animated series finale, following Finn and Jake's latest escapades across the magical land of Ooo. The debut story arc is titled "Best of Buds."

"Adventure Time played a formative role in my childhood," Winn shared. "Beyond its humor, it carried an emotional depth few animated shows achieved at the time. Crafting new stories for Oni Press has been both challenging and rewarding – capturing that same contagious energy that captivated me years ago."

Adventure Time #1 will retail for $4.99, hitting shelves on April 9, 2025, with a final order deadline of March 17.
