Marvel Rivals, the thrilling 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking but shines even brighter when playing with friends. This guide explains how to add friends and team up for some competitive action. Note that currently, cross-progression and cross-play aren't available, limiting friend additions to the same platform. However, developers have confirmed these features are in the works.
Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals
Locate the friend request icon, usually found near your player profile in the upper corner of the main menu. Clicking it reveals a list of recently played players, allowing you to directly add them to your friends list.
Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a friend's username. After pressing Enter, you can send a friend request. Once accepted, they'll appear on your friends list.
Playing With Friends
With your friends list populated, it's time to team up!
Access your friends list (the same icon used to add friends) and select the desired friend's username. Send an invite, then queue together for quick play or competitive matches.
Console players benefit from automatic friend integration. Friends added at the system level should automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
