The game plunges players into a world ravaged by Peccatomania, a horrifying disease manifesting as increasingly severe nightmares, hallucinations, and ultimately, violent psychosis. For centuries, Peccatomania has wreaked havoc, transforming victims from dreamers to dangers.

Hope lies within Archetype Arcadia, a virtual reality game that offers a unique path to slowing the disease's progression. Rust, the protagonist, enters this digital battleground to save his sister, Kristin, from Peccatomania's grasp. Even as the real world crumbles, Archetype Arcadia persists, providing a fragile sanctuary for players battling to maintain their sanity.
