Five Dice is a classic dice game akin to YAHTZEE*, Yachty, or Yatzy. It faithfully follows the rules of Yahtzee. With a simple, intuitive interface, it's the perfect go-to for a quick game while waiting in line, at an appointment, or whenever you have a few spare minutes (or hours!).

TRADITIONAL GAME MODE:

Traditional mode closely mirrors the official YAHTZEE rules. Each turn allows up to 3 rolls across 13 total turns. Tap dice you wish to keep after each roll. Aim to score at least three-of-a-kind in each left-side category; scoring 63+ there grants a 35-point bonus. On the right side, score in categories like 3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Five Dice, and Chance. Your first Five Dice scores 50 points, with a 100-point bonus for each subsequent one. This mode features its own leaderboard.

SEQUENTIAL GAME MODE:

In Sequential mode, scores must be assigned in a fixed order:

Left Side - 1s through 6s

Right Side - 3 of a Kind through Chance

Initially, all score categories are disabled and grayed out. After the first roll of each turn, the current sequential category becomes active (turns white). Once you've taken your 3 rolls, the score must go into that active category. The exception is rolling a Five Dice; you may score it immediately, then resume the sequence next turn. Subsequent Five Dice rolls earn a 100-point bonus but must still follow the sequence. Sequential mode has a dedicated leaderboard.

RUSSIAN ROULETTE GAME MODE:

You get only one roll per turn and must assign a score—even if it's a zero. The challenge is to maximize your score with this high-risk constraint. Can you master the strategy? This mode also features its own leaderboard!

PLUS GAME MODE:

In Plus mode, unused rolls carry over to future turns. A standard game has 13 turns with 3 rolls each. In Plus mode, if you don't use all 3 rolls in a turn, the remaining rolls are added to your next turn. For example, using only 2 rolls on your first turn gives you 4 on your second. If you then use only 1 of those, you'll have 6 rolls on your third, and so on. Plus mode includes its own leaderboard.

SCORING:

After every roll, all valid scoring options are highlighted in yellow for quick decision-making. You choose where to place each turn's score. A game consists of thirteen turns with up to 3 rolls each. Touch dice to keep them between rolls. After your third roll, you must assign a score before proceeding. The first Five Dice is worth 50 points; each one after earns a 100-point bonus. Score 63 or more on the left side of the scorecard for an additional 35-point bonus.
