Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian Entertainment has announced The Outer Worlds: The Launch of the Raiders, a new expansion titled Raiders Launch, set to release in October 2024 for PC and all major consoles, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. This highly anticipated expansion brings a fresh wave of chaos to the post-apocalyptic world of The Outer Worlds, as players take on the role of a newly arrived raider leader in the lawless region of New Eden’s Edge, a remote frontier ravaged by warring factions, rogue corporations, and mysterious energy anomalies. Key features of Raiders Launch include: New Open World Area: Explore the dangerous, irradiated wasteland of The Scraplands, a vast and treacherous region filled with derelict megacorporate outposts, ancient alien ruins, and hidden vaults. Raid Leader Mechanics: Build and command your own raider faction, recruit diverse allies with unique abilities, and wage war against rival gangs and corrupt enforcers.
