Vigilant: Burn & Bloom, is a resource-managing endless survival, out now in soft launch on iOS

by Alexander Jan 22,2025

Vigilant: Burn & Bloom, a new endless survival game, is currently in soft launch on iOS. Players take on the role of the Sentinel, an ecosystem guardian, battling hordes of fiery elemental beings.

This isn't your typical good-versus-evil showdown. The Sentinel's task is to maintain balance between fire and water, preventing the alien world from being consumed by flames. The game features a unique approach, requiring players to manage and control the fire elementals, destroying them only when necessary.

As the Sentinel, you'll strategically use water orbs to combat the fiery threats. Between battles, you'll retreat to your underground base (the "Batcave") to upgrade your powers and abilities.

The game cleverly avoids the typical simplistic portrayal of elemental conflict often seen in media. While it delivers satisfying action-packed gameplay, its nuanced approach to balancing opposing elements sets it apart. Instead of a straightforward "kill-em-all" experience, Vigilant: Burn & Bloom encourages strategic management and control.

Vigilant: Burn & Bloom launches worldwide on iOS in December 2024, with an Android release planned for Q1 2025.
